Day 1: Define Yourself
STARTUP BOOTCAMP DAY 1
Today you’ll refine and describe the concept of your business.
Due Date: Wednesday October 12th
TASK:
Write up the unique value propostion of your business. Why should people care, why should they give you their money. You’ll need 3 versions of this:
- 8 words
- 2 sentences
-1 paragraph
Do as many rewrites as you need. Think HARD about your core value. Don’t include side items, extras, addons, future plans. Give the meat.
Do not use fancy terminology. Each of the three writing pieces should stand on its own.

Extra Credit: Update your website by removing extra verbage and including your new, finely honed value propostion.
